A topical cream anesthetic is all that's usually required to make Radiesse® injections comfortable and the entire treatment usually takes less than 20 minutes. There may be minimal swelling and redness afterwards, and as with any injection, bruising is a possibility so it's not recommended in the week before an important social event.

Prices for Radiesse are based on the size of the syringe and range from $350 for a small syringe (enough to fill a scar or smooth a nasal bump) to $850 for the large syringe. A disount of 15% is given when 2-3 syringes are used, and there's a 20% discount when 4 or more syringes of filler are used in one session.
