The Sciton Laser Peel which removes 50-100 microns of outer skin produces a more significant reduction in fine lines, brown spots and more improvement in texture than what can be obtained with the Micro Laser Peel. The Sciton's TRL system sets a new standard for laser treatments, allowing Dr. Elliott to precisely vary the depth and the tightening effect of your laser peel to customize your treatment to your goals, your skin condition and your allowable recovery time.

Conditions which can be improved with a Laser Peel are: wrinkles, actinic keratoses (scaly, red, thickened "age spots"), seborrheic keratoses (raised brown spots), acne scars and textural problems. The treatment takes about 1 hour and is done after about 60 minutes of topical anesthetic.
Recovery consists of slight swelling and oozing for 1-3 days, with redness usually persisting for up to 10 days, depending on the depth of the peel. Most patients can return to work within a week. Repeating the Laser Peel 1-4 times can produce results almost as impressive as those seen with deeper laser resurfacing.
Prices for Laser Peels range from $700-$1,150 depending on the area treated.
