What is Juvederm™ made of?
Juvederm is an injectable gel made of hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the skin, and it's been approved by the FDA since 2006. To make it virtually painless, Skinspirations uses Juvederm XC™, which contains a numbing medication. Now even lip enhancement can be done without anesthetic injections!

What is a Juvederm XC™ treatment like?
The treatment takes only minutes to perform and the results are immediate. Juvederm is inserted through a tiny needle and the improvement is immediate. There's usually very little swelling and many of our patients pop in during their lunch hour and then go right back to work. Because hyaluronic acid is naturally found in the body, there is little risk of an allergic reaction. Bruising can occur with any injection, so treatments should be scheduled when you don't have a social event coming up within the next few days.
